Too late. That's how long I stayed up last night. Now I'm sitting at my desk in an attempt to stay awake. Fighting that urge to take a short - yeah. right. - nap on the founton in my office. Oh so comfortable founton ... ... ... It's sad, and probably slightly entertaining, were you to see it. ... Yeah. sad.
It's totally worth it though. A kickin' jam session is always a good reason to lose sleep, or at least

Amongst all the things in life that should not be missed is THE GROOVE!
This brings to mind a quote from Michael Card that is printed on the back of his DVD, Scribblin in the Sand. It basically says that the best music is created from the community of believers living and struggling together through life. It's a new and penetrating thought for me. I'll try to remember to get the quote and post it later.
I will post about my new job as "chapel advisor" at New Covenant School sometime soon, so keep checking back!
P.S. You will all have to forgive my rather superfluous use of outdated slang. Those of you who know me understand. The rest of you ... I never fully reached consciousness this morning, and I'm having fun. For any of you might-be-critics, I have just one question. "Can you say GROOVE?"

"His groove! The rhythm in which he lives his life! His pattern of behavior!"
