DEATHDEALING

I encountered a copperhead snake on the way here to church this morning. I swerved to miss it, but thought better of it. I snapped the car around and went speeding back down the road, this time swerving to hit it. I hit him once, twice, three times ... I pulled up next to it to see the damage and confirm the kill. Definitely a copperhead. It's amazing how such a beautiful snake can be so dangerous.

I rolled back and delivered the finishing blow.
