Is there anyone who finds matresses as we know them to be uncomfortable?

I prefer a mat.

Our old matress stunk (because of the old wire bed matress, but we bought a new matress that is wonderful. Lots of good features: individually wrapped coils, a pillow-top = great sleep...and other stuff.
