Thanks for all the hard work last week. Sunday's worship was grace-filled and uplifting to so many. The drum experiment went over well, as did some last minute violin work by my lovely wife.

Thanks especially to Albert for rolling with the drum 'cutbacks'. We took half of his stuff away, and he pulled it off. It's not about how we want to play things. It's about what will serve the best. So thanks, Albert, for serving us all.

Unfortunately, there's no audio for the songs this week. Didn't get recorded. Sorry. (Well, I do have the drums for the first song, and if you turn it up loud enough, you can hear more via mic bleed.)

I think that people responded well to the variety we had this week. There were three different instrument compositions - guitar, piano, drums; guitar, guitar, violin; and guitar, electric, piano. All this variety, when done well, is good along the lines of our philosophy of worship, which is to draw in as many people as possible in a worship service. One way we do this is to represent as many people musically as we can with the various instruments we play, not just in making sure we sing a hymn and a modern song.

One more thing. If you find yourself in a conversation with any of our church folks and they express a desire to do something to help with music or tech, please encourage that, don't let it go, and either direct them to me, and/or tell me about your conversation with them so I can follow up. We could definitely use more help on every front, so keep your ears open.

That's it. Please leave comments.
