I just realized something very cool about my blog. It's very useful for remembering myself. Have you ever had that happen? We post on these things as if they're a forum for being completely ourselves at any given moment, an obscure place known to precious few people and likely frequented by even less. Here, somehow, there's a mild freedom from those things we get lost in during the routines and throes of life. Here we are a little more honest a free with self-expression. And we can come back here. I was reading my profile - "keeping Joshua 1:8-9 in the back pocket" - and was reminded. As I check my blog during the day for comments and tags (and to see that everything still looks as it should/as I want it - yes, I'm picky), ... in a way I'm checking in on myself, or at least a part of me that I like to be at times. It's a part of me that I might forget about if I lost reason to care.


P.S. I wonder when the new Batman movie will come out on DVD. My t-shirt reminded me this morning. Can't wait. Oh! And what about Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children?! Zach, Phillip, I say we dig a hole to Japan and get a copy. You guys bring the shovel and flashlight. I have coupons for Hardee's, so I'll bring the sustenance.
