Well, my roommate is back, I think. He came by the apartment on Saturday, but I've yet to see him. Here's hoping that he didn't make it safely back from a foreign country only to disappear a few miles from home!

It's been really rainy here the last couple days. Today I'm hurting all over and really sleepy because of the weather. It's really hard not to entirely waste these kind of days sacked out or absent-mindedly watching a movie, or two. I'm managing to get a few really small things done. I made flash cards to quiz one of my piano students. I felt like such a teacher-wanna-be standing there sniffing Sharpie marker. *chuckle* Maybe one day. I am going to take a job with a Christian school in Anderson as a sort of overseer / advisor for their chapel program. I'll be working with the student leadership and helping to prepare them and the chapel services each week. They do the music, so I'll get to do a little applied instruction, which I'm excited about. All this if the job is still available anyway.

I may go out to Anderson after I teach my student as 4:00. Some new comic books hit the shelves last week, and I haven't gotten to get to the store yet. Oh! - Can I say that teaching piano is one of the true joys in my life. I love music. I love piano. I love teaching. Makes sense! I can be having a really "off" day, and after a lesson or two, I'm skipping around like I'm off to see the Wizard! I'm looking forward to school getting started back again and picking up some more students.
