NEW INFORMATION

Someone posted this link into a comment on my latest post about the End of the Spear controversy. The article is by a prominent Christian author, Randy Alcorn. I would strongly suggest that you take the time to read at least the first part of it. It seems that the Christian community got the whole picture. Yes, a homosexual played Nate and Steve Saint, but it wasn't the plan. The directors of the film said they didn't know before they cast Chad Allen. Yeah, I'm still bothered by it, and probably won't see the film. Maybe I will, but I don't know that such a stink should be made. I guess it was an honest mistake that we shouldn't crucify anyone in the media over.

Maybe there are other issues to be taken with the movie, but I'm going to calm down on this one. It's a shame so many people will have a bad taste in their mouths over this, but hopefully people in the Christian community can get all the facts. Thanks to all the people who are digging into the situation to help us keep our heads.
